How does the odds formats work?

We offer several different odds formats so that you can choose the one that suits you best. Below, we explain how each format works:

  • Decimal - To calculate your winnings with decimal odds, you simply need to multiply the odds with your stake. For example: Your stake is 5 €, odds are 1.20 = when the bet wins, your pay-out is 6 €. Remember that when using decimal odds, your original stake is calculated into your potential winnings.

  • Fractions - mostly used in the UK/Ireland. They are represented as fractions (6/4, 2/1, 1/3...) and indicate the net pay out earned relative to the amount staked. Differently from decimal format, they show the possible profit (stake is excluded). Odds of 2/1 imply that the bettor would have 200 € profit on a 100 € stake.).

  • American - American odds always use a baseline value of $100. For favourites you are always risking the money to win $100, and with underdogs you risk $100 to win the amount. They start either with a positive or a negative sign, e.g. -110, or +120. A negative number indicates what you must bet to make $100 profit and a positive number indicates how much you might profit if you bet $100.
